The main space event of the year, a public race “Space Marathon”, invites the participants!
The event will take place on 9 September 2017 in Korolev. The start and finish lines will be placed on the city main square near the Kalinin Central Culture House. Besides the trial, the participants and spectators can take part in some events like the sporting goods exhibition EXPO, children entertainment program, concert and celebratory firework in honor of the City Day.

The Space Marathon participants
Participation in Space Marathon is open to professional sportsmen, newcomers and amateurs who want to test their sporting spirit and get lots of positive impressions. No age limit established. For the registration it is enough to have a medical certificate issued after 9 March 2017 and entry fee payment. The children and Grom card owners don’t need medical certificate.
Among the Space marathon participants is the well-known ultra-marathon runner, a healthy lifestyle popularizer, the broadcaster of Begoman vlog Igor Kurtepov.

Space Marathon rules
Every distance has a one lap. There are several possible distances on a one’s choice:
- 0,5 km for the children aged 0 to 6 years;
- 1 km for the children aged 6 to 11 years;
- 10 km for the participants over 16 years;
- 21,1 km for the participants over 18years;
- 42,195 km for the participants over 18 years.
The winners on the distances determine among men and women be the age and in the final standing.
The competition program
The Space Marathon program includes two days. On 8 September at Tereshkovoy str, 1 all the participants can take sponsored gifts at 15:00 to 21:00. The Repharm company, a sponsor of the Space Marathon, gives its natural cosmetic products to every sportsmen, youngsters and adults.
Everyone who wants to meet Repharm cosmetics closer can visit the stand of Repharm on the EXPO exhibition, which will take place on the main square on 9 September for morning till evening. You can look over the different kind of sporting goods, sport equipment, medical products for taking care of sportsmen’s stamina and endurance.
Starts and main public events will take place on 9 September. The event organizers offer unforgivable emotions and impressions to every guest and participant of the celebration. In the program list there are entertainments, meetings with the real astronauts, firework, T-shorts for children and their parents, volunteer support on the track, massage and hot meals after finishing. All the finishers will get the commemorative medals, the winners will be awarded with cups.
All the interested may take part in the Space Marathon on 9 September after the registration.
