A Maraphon Runner’s Review of Repharm Sport Products

Igor Kurtepov, a triathlete, marathon runner and moderator of videoblog Begoman, has kindly agreed to test calcium-regulating muscle cream Ca-Vitactive by Repharm.

Among the sporting achievements of Igor are the following:

Total distance travelled for 4 years is more than 10 900 km, which includes:

32 ultramarathons (more, than 50 km), 36 marathons, 56 half marathons
Ultramarathons: 15 runs on a distance from 50 to 100 km, 8 of 100-km distances, 7 runs on a more than 100 km distance, amongst them there were 2 of 24-hour marathons
The best marathon time 3:23:02, the best 100-km distance time 9:24:41

As Igor spoke in an interview, he had paid attention to sport at 42. He was driven by the desire to improve his quality of life and fix some health issues. Usual workout in the gym toned him up and he started to workout systematically.

Marathon runs

Igor met marathor running by chance, his first distance was half marathon, which he coped with of interest 16 June 2013. The result surprised him, because he reached the result of 2 hours 6 minutes at the age of 52 without a single practice and training. The interest to his abilities had risen and 3 month later he took part in The Moscow International Peace Marathon, which Igor was preparing to, running 35 km after work in the park with the headlamp. He run easy, it took him 4 hours 21 minutes to complete the 42 km distance without slowing to a walk and even kept strength for a final push. After that race he changed his life philosophy and began to think that all limits are in our heads and after breaking the patterns and stereotypes everyone can live a full and dignified life.

13 months after he had started to run, Igor completed a 100+ km distance, a year later he finished on a triathlon distance IROMAN, included 3,8 km swimming, 180 km bike riding and 42 km race, in 2016 he won The Moscow Championship of 24-hour run with a result 202 km 125 m.

 

Nourishing and training

In 2013 after starting running Igor started heathy diet. Nowadays his ration includes 70 – 80% of food without thermal treatment like salads, sprouts, parsley, cucumbers, tomatoes, fruits, cheese, nuts, light-salted fish of salmon. Daily racing 8 – 25 km a day, 250 – 350 km a month. By weekends — powerlifting, cross-fit, RPM, swimming.

The result of this lifestyle is total absence of diseases, tremendous stamina, new objectives for life and sports.
